Amazon has released a brand new, full-length trailer for Hunters. This is the latest from Jordan Peele, who has been on a hot streak ever since his Oscar-winning directorial debut Get Out. Peele serves as a producer on the show, with fellow Oscar-winner Al Pacino in the lead role as a man hunting Nazis in the 1970s. This tailer gives us easily our best look at the series yet, which looks bold, timely and potentially very entertaining.

The trailer starts out with a young man attending his grandmother's funeral. We come to find out that she survived the Holocaust, only to be murdered years later. Then, Al Pacino's character offers him a chance at revenge. We then get to the heart of the matter, which sees Pacino recruiting this man for his team of Nazi hunters, who operate in the shadows taking out, well, Nazis. The whole thing is violent, heavy and surprisingly amusing, despite its grizzly nature. Being set to the tune of Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads certainly doesn't hurt matters any.

The cast of this Amazon Prime original also includes Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin. David Weil (Moonfall) created the series and serves as an executive producer. Nikki Toscano (Shades of Blue), Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (American Horror Story), Win Rosenfeld (The Twilight Zone), Nelson McCormick (Prison Break) and Tom Lesinski (Mr. Mercedes) are also on board as executive producers. Weill and Toscano serve as co-showrunners. Toscano, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, had this to say about the show.

"The comedy is so prevalent, and you can really push the envelope with a lot of these characters because all of these Hunters come from different backgrounds. All of them have been discriminated against in some way, and I loved this idea of them collectively trying to take the power back."

Hunters is inspired by true events centers on a diverse group of Nazi Hunters. The series takes place in 1977 New York when this group discovers that hundreds of escaped Nazis are living in America. They then set out on a bloody quest for revenge and justice, aiming to take down these Nazis who have made a new home in the U.S. However, they quickly discover a far-reaching conspiracy and must race the clock to stop the Nazis' new genocidal plans.

This continues a hot streak, not just for Jordan Peele, who released his sophomore movie Us last year, but for Al Pacino as well. Last year, Pacino starred in both The Irishman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, both of which are considered amongst the best movies of 2019. It looks like the Pacino renaissance is set to roll on into 2020 as well. Hunters arrives in February from Amazon Prime Video. Be sure to check out the new trailer for yourself.
