Heroes star Jack Coleman has signed on to reprise his role as Noah Bennett (a.k.a. The Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses/HRG) in NBC's upcoming mini-series Heroes Reborn. The official Twitter feed for Heroes Reborn confirmed the news with the following photo.

We first reported on Heroes Reborn back in February, after the network released a brief trailer for the show during its coverage of the Winter Olympics. NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement that they weren't ruling out the, "possibility of some of the show's original cast members popping back in," but Jack Coleman is the first confirmed cast member thus far.

Originally a recurring character on the show, Jack Coleman was quickly promoted to series regular halfway through Season 1 after becoming a fan favorite. Before his character's name was revealed, fans gave him the nickname "Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses," or "HRG."

Heroes creator Tim Kring is also returning for the 13-episode series, and it is said that he and the other producers have reached out to Zachary Quinto (Sylar) and Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli), although they are not available to return at this time. It isn't known if Hayden Panettiere will return either, since she revealed in April that she was unaware of the series coming back. She currently stars on ABC's hit series Nashville, and it is unclear if she will return as Claire Bennett.

Jack Coleman has recently had an arc on ABC's Scandal and he continues to recur on Castle.
