Hannibal fans still have a long way to go before Season 2 debuts sometime next year. However, with Halloween just around the corner, series creator Bryan Fuller debuted the first piece of promo art from the upcoming season, featuring Mads Mikkelsen wearing deer antlers. Take a look at the image, then read on to see what the executive producer had to say about the artwork.
Bryan Fuller, who designed the image with the help of the show's visual effects team at RocketScience, revealed the meaning of the artwork to Entertainment Weekly.
"After a horrifying descent into madness in Season 1, this image ironically represents the perspective of a scrappier, clearer-minded Will Graham in Season 2. The scales have fallen from his eyes and he finally sees Hannibal Lecter for the monster he is."
Stay tuned to find out when the Season 2 Premiere will debut on NBC next year.
