Golden Globes TV nominations arrived this morning, officially kicking off awards season in Hollywood. The nominations were announced direct from Los Angeles, California. And it appears to be a packed house, with no clearcut frontrunner.

Ahead of the pack for TV this year are HBO's Chernobyl, which was pushed up beside Netflix's The Crown, with both series have garnered four nominations apiece. The Crown landed in the Best Drama category. While Chernobyl is being recognized for Best Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for television.

Other Best Drama nominees include HBO's Succession, Apple TV+ getting its first recognition for The Morning Show, BBC America's Killing Eve and HBO's Big Little Lies. Over on the Comedy or Musical side of things, Amazon's Fleabag appears to be the frontrunner, with Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also getting recognized. HBO's Barry got nominated again, with Netflix picking up the final two noms in this category with The Politician and The Kominsky Method.

Along with Chernobyl leading the pack for Miniseries or Original TV Movie, Netflix's Unbelievable was also nominated four times. Also in this category are Fosse/Verdon for FX, The Loudest Voice on Showtime and Hulu's George Clooney led Catch-22.

We'll get to find out the winners when Golden Globes 2020 is broadcast on NBC January 5. Ricky Gervais will host the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards for what he is calling one final time.
