We have our first look at GLOW season 3. Netflix has revealed a pair of new photos from the popular wrestling series, in addition to a very brief teaser video that brings with it the official release date. Those looking forward to more action from the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling can officially block off some binge-watching time on August 9, as that's when the streaming service is set to unveil the brand new batch of episodes, which will be taking the ladies to Las Vegas.

The images see Ruth and Debbie decked out in pink gear, clearly ready for a show. They're looking up at a neon sign at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, with their wrestling show featured on the marquee. Things are clearly looking up. As for the teaser video, it doesn't really contain any footage. Instead, its an animation of a slot machine with the main characters that is purely here to remind us of the setting and to reveal the release date. Nothing more.

Glow season 3 centers on the ladies as they take Las Vegas by storm. They've headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, though they quickly find out that Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Even Ruth's passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her increasingly complex personal life, despite typically being the group's cheerleader. Debbie, meanwhile, is making progress as a producer, while at the same time becoming saddled with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency marches on, the lines between performance and reality begin to blur, and the cast begins to struggle with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.

The core cast of Glow ladies return this season with Alison Brie (Ruth Wilder aka "Zoya the Destroya"), Betty Gilpin (Debbie Eagan aka "Liberty Belle"), Sydelle Noel (Cherry Bang aka "Black Magic"), Britney Young (Carmen Wade aka "Machu Picchu"), Kate Nash (Rhonda Richardson aka "Britannica"), Jackie Tohn (Melanie Rosen aka "Melrose"), Gayle Rankin (Sheila aka "Sheila the She-Wolf"), Kia Stevens (Tamme Dawson aka "Welfare Queen"), Kimmy Gatewood (Stacey Beswick aka "Edna"), Rebekka Johnson (Dawn Rivecca aka "Ethel"), Sunita Mani (Arthie Premkumar aka "Beirut"), Marianna Palka (Reggie Walsh aka "Vicky Viking"), Ellen Wong (Jenny Chey aka "Fortune Cookie") and Shakira Barrera (Yolanda Rivas aka "Junkchain"). Marc Maron also returns as Sam Sylvia. The ensemble is rounded out by Britt Baron (Justine Biagi), Chris Lowell (Sebastian "Bash" Howard), Bashir Salahuddin (Keith Bang), Rich Sommer (Mark Eagan) and Victor Quinaz (Russell).

Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch serve as showrunners on the series, with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Tara Herrmann and Jenji Kohan on board as executive producers. Glow season 3 will consist of 10 episodes. With the release date announced, we should be getting an actual teaser trailer sooner rather than later.
