Actress Samantha Ware has accused her former co-star Lea Michele of making her first TV job a "living hell." Ware starred on the hit Fox musical series Glee alongside Michele during the show's sixth and final season in 2015. It served as Ware's first major TV acting gig. However, in a recent social media post, Ware says that Michele's actions made her question a career in Hollywood at all.

The exchange was sparked after Lea Michele, who played one of the leading roles, Rachel Berry, on Glee, posted on Twitter in support of George Floyd. The Minnesota man was killed last week while in police custody. His death has sparked outrage across the U.S. leading to protests and unrest. Michele tagged the post with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter. Here's what the actress had to say.

"George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter."

This got the attention of Samantha Ware. Taking to Twitter in response, Ware said that Lea Michele was quite unkind to her during her time on Glee. Ware played Jane Hayward on season 6, appearing in 11 episodes in a recurring role. As Ware tells it, Michele did not make her feel welcome and acted aggressively toward her. Here is what Ware had to say about it.

"Lmao remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I'll never forget. I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would 'sh*t in my wig!' amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood..."

As of this writing, Lea Michele has not responded to the comments. Samantha Ware has also not elaborated on the matter any further. Ware did appear to receive some support from other former Glee cast members. Amber Riley, taking to Twitter, shared a gif of herself sipping tea. Alex Newell was a bit more vocal saying the following.

"I'm gonna say this one time... when my friends goes through something traumatic I also go through it... that's what friendship is... and if you can't understand that then you're part of the problem... and that's on periodt! And I mean that for both sides of this coin!"

This isn't the first time conflict has emerged between Lea Michele and her co-stars. In 2014, reports emerged that Naya Rivera, who played Santana Lopez on Glee, had an ongoing feud with Michele. In the years since the show went off the air, Michele has starred on Scream Queens and The Mayor, as well as the TV movie Same Time, Next Christmas. Samantha Ware has gone on to star in the TV miniseries Margot vs. Lily as well as Netflix's What/If. Ware has also guested on shows such as Chicago Med, Bull and God Friended Me.
