The Gilmore Girls Revival Event Series just got a little more real. The Dragonfly Inn is back up and running, and it is still being led by Stars Hollow's sassy concierge Michel. Over the weekend, Yanic Truesdale, who is returning as Michel, posted the first set photo from the upcoming Netflix series on his personal Twitter page.

Yanic Truesdale is joined by Gilmore Girls lead actress Lauren Graham, who is back to reprise her role as Lorelai. Both seem very happy to be revisiting this world. Here's what Yanic Truesdale had to say about going back to work after his 9 year hiatus away from Stars Hallow.

"First day back at the Inn with my old boss. Fun times!"

The CW's iconic show Gilmore Girls is returning for a new event series with the original cast members. Already confirmed to return are Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Scott Patterson (Luke) and Kelly Bishop (Emily). Other series regulars Sean Gunn (Kirk) and Keiko Agena (Lane) are also returning. The Gilmore Girls Revival Event Series will consist of four 90-minute episodes that are essentially being crafted as "mini-movies." Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Daniel Palladino, who served as an executive producer on the original series, will both write and direct the four episodes. These episodes are said to be set in present day, and will unfold over the course of one year.

It remains unclear if Melissa McCarthy will reprise her role as Sookie. In response to being asked if she would participate, the actress, who became a big star after her time spend on The CW drama, simply replied 'No One Asked Me.' Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino told TVLine that Melissa McCarthy has an open invitation to return in one of the four new episodes being produced.

The tentative title for the event series is Gilmore Girls: Seasons. Each 90-minute episode will encompass one season of the year, winter, spring, summer and fall, with the story encompassing an entire year. Production began on February 2. It isn't known when these episodes will debut on the streaming service quite yet. Amy Sherman-Palladino's hope is that Netflix doesn't release all four episodes on the same day, but gives each mini-movie its own space to be discovered.
