On the heels of its impressive $86.1 million opening weekend, FX Networks has acquired the TV rights to Thor: The Dark World, along with recent hits Gravity and Captain Phillips.

The network has been rather aggressive in acquiring TV rights to some of this year's biggest hits, with FX also acquiring Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Prisoners along with the trio of aforementioned movies.

FX has already secured the rights for several other 2013 blockbusters such as Iron Man 3, Despicable Me 2, Man of Steel, Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Into Darkness, World War Z, The Croods, The Heat, Identity Thief, Grown Ups 2, The Wolverine, The Hangover Part III, and Pacific Rim.

All of these 2013 releases will debut sometime in 2015 on FX.
