The CW Network has released the first photo of Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger in Season 2 of Arrow. The character will debut in the season's second episode, "Identity", airing Tuesday, October 16 at 8 PM ET. Marc Guggenheim praised the actor's performance as the Bronze Tiger, along with the costume designer and props master.

"Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass. His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master...they've all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character."

The executive producer reveals that the Bronze Tiger (a.k.a. Ben Turner) comes to Starling City to see if the Hood can challenge his skills.

"He's basically the best of the best, so he has come to Starling City to see if the Hood can give him a challenge. To that end, he has aligned himself with China White [Kelly Hu] and the Chinese Triad."

Marc Guggenheim also promised that fans of the DC Comics character will be pleased with how the character is portrayed in the CW series.

"If you're a fan of the character from the comics, you are going to really happy with his Arrow-fication."

Season 2 of Arrow kicks off Wednesday, October 9 at 8 PM ET on The CW Network with "City of Heroes".
