During last night's episode of Talking Dead, it was finally revealed that the Fear the Walking Dead crossover character is none other than Lennie James' Morgan Jones, and now we have our first look at the actor on set. AMC has released two new photos with Lennie James on the Austin, Texas set of Fear the Walking Dead Season 4, while the Fear the Walking Dead Facebook and Twitter pages debuted a live video feed featuring the actor on the set, thanking fans for their support of his beloved Morgan Jones character, who now moves to Fear the Walking Dead as part of this Walking Dead crossover. Here's what Walking Dead showrunner and Fear the Walking Dead executive producer Scott M. Gimple had to say in a statement.

"Lennie James' brilliance and humanity in his portrayal of Morgan Jones has been part of the DNA of what makes The Walking Dead so fantastic since the very beginning. Morgan's story will continue in this season of The Walking Dead, and then, it begins again in the upcoming season of Fear the Walking Dead, pushing the series, and the Waking Dead universe itself, into new directions and possibilities."

While several of the producers often shot down possibilities of a crossover between both shows, Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman finally confirmed that The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead would finally cross over. It was revealed that one character would cross over between shows, and while there was speculation the crossover will happen during The Walking Dead Season 8, it will actually happen during Fear the Walking Dead Season 4. Here's what new Fear the Walking Dead showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg had to say in their statement.

"As longtime fans of Lennie James and his portrayal of Morgan Jones, we are thrilled to have him join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead}. We look forward to working with Lennie to continue the journey Morgan began on The Walking Dead."

When the Walking Dead crossover was first announced, many fans suspected that it would be Michael Cudlitz's Abraham Ford who would be the crossover character, since he was recently killed off and his character was originally from Texas before the zombie outbreak, where the new season of Fear the Walking Dead is set. The Season 3 finale revealed that the show would shift locations to Houston, although there is no word yet on how Morgan Jones will be integrated into the show, which is a few years behind the timeline of The Walking Dead. Here's what Lennie James had to say in a statement about shifting gears to Fear the Walking Dead.

"To take Morgan into this new realm and landscape, to see who he could now be, to see where his story could go in the world of Fear the Walking Dead is wonderfully exciting and I am really looking forward to the challenge. My time on The Walking Dead has been a blessing and one of the top working and personal experiences of my life. That cast and crew will have my love, my respect and my deep gratitude until the end of my days."

Along with Lennie James' Morgan Jones, a few more new cast members were recently announced for Fear the Walking Dead Season 4, with Jenna Elfman and Garret Dillahunt coming aboard. Unfortunately, no details were given about their characters just yet, but now that filming has gotten under way on this new season, perhaps we'll hear more soon.
