Fear the Walking Dead season 5 is now less than a month away from premiering and AMC has released a sneak peek at what fans can expect. In addition to the scene featuring Morgan Jones and Alicia, the network has released some pretty awesome key-art to get fans excited for the premiere on June 2nd. The art teases some pretty serious business and it looks like Alicia may have a pretty interesting new ability when season 5 drops in a few weeks.

The Fear the Walking Dead clip features Lennie James' Morgan having a talk with Alycia Debnam-Carey's Alicia. Morgan says, "It's not supposed to be easy," when talking about their quest to help others. She then doubles down on the sentiment and says, "It should be hard. It should be. Maybe that's how we know we're on the right track." It doesn't really spoil anything for the upcoming season, but it does give an indication of how things will go when all is said and done. Nothing has ever been easy on the hit Walking Dead spin-off and that isn't going to change any time soon.

In Fear the Walking Dead season 5, the group's mission is clear: locate survivors and help make what's left of the world a slightly better place. With dogged determination, Morgan Jones leads the group with a philosophy rooted in benevolence, community and hope. Each character believes that helping others will allow them to make up for the wrongs of their pasts. But trust won't be easily earned. Their mission of helping others will be put to the ultimate test when our group finds themselves in unchartered territory, one which will force them to face not just their pasts but also their fears. It is only through facing those fears that the group will discover an entirely new way to live, one that will leave them forever changed.

As the latest clip from Fear the Walking Dead shows, Morgan is the de facto leader of the group, while Alicia is taking on Madison's legacy as an enforcer. The rest of the team is still trying to find a place, which is what season 5 will more than likely touch on throughout all of the episodes. Things aren't going to be easy, but they really never are, especially with Fear the Walking Dead.

Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero. The series stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, Ruben Blades and Karen David.
