Season 4B of Fear the Walking Dead is all set to return with the final 8 episodes of the season on August 12th, and AMC has released some new pictures from the show that tease what the second half of Season 4 will have in store. Both Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead will have a big presence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, which is this week. AMC's hit shows will be taking over Hall H on Thursday July 19th, starting at 11:15 AM Pacific Time along with an official fan zone that will offer an immersive experience for fans.

In addition to shots from episodes of Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, AMC also released some behind-the-scenes shots as well. Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace, Lennie James, and Alycia Debnam-Carey are shown in between takes. Additionally, Garret Dillahunt, Danay Garcia, Colman Domingo, and Alexa Nisenson are featured in various situations that should get some fan speculation going until we get some more information this Thursday at Comic-Con.

The first half of Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead put a focus on Kim Dickens' Madison Clark, which in the end, was shown to be the ultimate self-sacrifice. Madison is the second major character of the show to have died during the first half of the season, with the first being Frank Dillane's Nick Clark. The second half of Season 4 will put the focus on the unlikely alliances that have been made from the first episodes. After being in isolation, the new team will have a whole bunch of new enemies that include other humans as well as walkers and even mother nature.

Most fans of Fear the Walking Dead agree that the show has slowly gotten better with time. The first two seasons were deemed as uneven and the third was a step in the right direction. But Season 4 is where the AMC show started to hit its stride, which was evident after the first two episodes. The fourth season even saw a bump in ratings that has still struggled at times, but has kept a solid viewership and has fans excited to see what the second half of the season will bring for the new alliances.

As previously mentioned, Fear the Walking Dead Season 4B will premiere August 12th on AMC and we should get some more information about the upcoming season this week during San Diego Comic-Con. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead is expected to premiere sometime in October, with a possible concrete release date announced later this week. Fans of both shows are starting to lean a little further to the Fear the Walking Dead side over the last two seasons, so it will be interesting to see if Season 9 will be able to redeem itself amongst fans.
