With the April 19 premiere date getting closer and closer, FX has released a brief new trailer for Fargo Season 3, which offers our first look at Ewan McGregor as Ray Stussy, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as his girlfriend Nikki Swango. While we don't get a ton of footage within this 30-second video, we see Ray and Nikki eating at a diner, when a local police officer enters, which seems to put Ray on edge. He calmly pays his bill and leaves with Nikki, and we can see on the outside of this building that the Diner sign has two burnt out letters, with the sign reading "Die," a ominous warning for sure.

Set in 2010, the third installment of Fargo centers on Emmit and his slightly younger brother Ray Stussy (Ewan McGregor). Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, sees himself as an American success story, whereas Ray is more of a cautionary tale. Forever living in his more successful brother's shadow, Ray is a balding and pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he's been dealt, and he blames his brother. Their sibling rivalry follows a twisted path that begins with petty theft but soon leads to murder, mobsters and cut-throat competitive bridge.
