Just one week after the teaser debuted, BBC has released the second full-length trailer for Season 8 of Doctor Who, which debuts Saturday, August 23 on BBC America. Peter Capaldi takes over as the new Time Lord, joining companion Clara (Jenna Coleman) as he tries to rectify the mistakes he has made in the past this season. The footage also teases a number of new monsters and creatures this season, including a massive T-Rex, which you can take a look at below.

Capaldi will be joined by Jenna Coleman (Death Comes to Pemberley), who returns as companion Clara Oswald, and Samuel Anderson (The History Boys, Gavin and Stacey) who joins the cast as Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where Clara also works. Previously announced guest stars include Ben Miller (Primeval, Death in Paradise), Keeley Hawes (Line of Duty, Upstairs, Downstairs), and Tom Riley (Da Vinci's Demons).
