The Disney Channel rounds out its main cast for the TV movie Descendants, with Maz Jobrani playing Jafar from Aladdin, Kathy Najimy portraying Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Evil Queen, Wendy Raquel Robinson starring as Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians and Melanie Paxson as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother.

The new cast members join Kristin Chenoweth and Dove Cameron as Sleeping Beauty villain Maleficent and her daughter Mal, Mitchell Hope as Ben, the son of Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast, BooBoo Stewart as Jafar's son Jay, Cameron Boyce as Cruella De Vil's son Carlos, Sofia Carson as the Evil Queen's daughter Evvie and newcomer Brenna D'Amico as the Fairy Godmother's daughter Jane.

The story, written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott, is set in an ancient kingdom where Belle and Beast have ruled as king and queen. They must attend the same prep school as the children of The Fairy Godmother, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Mulan, where they must decide if they want to follow in their parents nefarious footsteps, or carve out their own path.

Kenny Ortega is directing, although it isn't known when production will begin. The TV movie will air sometime next year on The Disney Channel.
