/marvel-teams-with-netflix-for-daredevil-luke-cage-iron-fist-and-jessica-jones-series/Last week, we reported that Marvel was teaming with Netflix for four new series, including Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. Today, we have word that Dexter and Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will write and executive producer Jessica Jones.

Jessica Jones first debuted in the Marvel MAX imprint series Alias. The character and series were created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Gaydos. Alias ran for 28 issues from 2001 to 2004. Jones and other characters from the series moved to Bendis' subsequent series, The Pulse.

All four shows will culminate in a The Defenders mini-series event. Each series is designed to take Netflix subscribers into the world of the superheroes and villains based in Hell's Kitchen. Netflix will bring a minimum of four, thirteen episode runs for the event.
