Delroy Lindo, Jamie Chung, and Sienna Guillory have joined the cast of NBC's pilot Believe. They join Jake McLaughlin, who has already signed on to this project from producers J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón.

The story follows a young woman who possesses amazing powers that will be fully developed in seven years. Jake McLaughlin plays Tate, a man who escapes from prison on a mission to protect her from nefarious forces. Delroy Lindo plays Winter, a man posing as a priest who appears to have a benevolent agenda, but who is also hiding a secret. Jamie Chung is playing Channing, a strong woman who works for Winter and assists Tate in escaping from prison. Sienna Guillory plays an assassin named Moore who has issues with her mother. Newcomer Johnny Sequoya has also signed on to play Bo.

Alfonso Cuarón and Mark Friedman are writing the pilot episode. They will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television, alongside Bad Robot's J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk.

Believe is the first of two pilots being produced by J.J. Abrams this year, with the other being an untitled police drama for Fox, written by Fringe producer J.H. Wyman.
