The Defenders are getting ready to rescue Hell's Kitchen later this year and Netflix is doing everything they can to get us pumped for the series. This show will be the culmination of every Marvel Netflix show so far, with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist all teaming up to take on a big threat. But for now, they are just tweeting motion posters to one another.

The official The Defenders Twitter account showed off the first of these news motion posters, which features Matt Murdock in an elevator with the caption, "Careful @Daredevil." This resulted in a game of Twitter tag with all of the individual accounts for the Marvel Netflix shows, with Jessica Jones tagging Iron Fist, who then tagged Luke Cage, who looped Daredevil back in. The caption on the final motion poster with Matt Murdock probably featured the best caption, which was a play on the fact that Daredevil is blind.

"Longtime listener."

For quite some time, Marvel and Netflix were keeping quiet about The Defenders, but over the last month or so, they have been pushing the series hard. They recently released the first, full-length trailer for the series, which was received very well by fans and, don't worry, there is most definitely a hallway fight, which has become quite the staple of these Netflix superhero shows. The teaser also gave us our first look at Sigourney Weaver's mysterious villain, who is simply going by the name of Alexandra at this point. Though, it was recently suggested by costume designer Stephanie Maslansky that she is playing the leader of The Hand.

"I think that she's clearly a baddie, and she's the head of an ancient organization which is grounded in the comics. I hope that her wardrobe reflects that kind of ancientness. I hope I haven't said too much. I hope Marvel doesn't come after me."

The core heroes will be back for the series, but some of the side characters from the various solo shows will be along for the ride as well. The Defenders will see the return of Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page,Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Elodie Yung as Elektra, who looks like she will have a big role to play in the plot of the series, based on the recent teaser trailer.

The Defenders stars Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (NEg69xOHuPxfjn||Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) as the titular superhero team. Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez are set as showrunners for the series, with Douglas Petrie, Marco Ramirez, Drew Goddard, and Jeph Loeb on as Executive Producers. The Defenders season 1 is set to hit Netflix on August 18. You can check out the brand new motion posters for yourself below.
