The CW has yet to officially confirm a premiere date for their Arrow and The Flash spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow. There's even conflicting reports that it will either air during the mid-season hiatus for the other two DC Comics series, debuting in the winter, or it will arrive after both have concluded, serving as a late spring/early summer series. What has been confirmed is that Hawkman and Hawkgirl will appear on the new superhero series in some capacity. And we have your first look at both of them today.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl will appear on both Arrow and The Flash before they head over to their own show later in the year. These two badasses from Midway City are ready to take flight in the latest photo from The CW. The pair are part of time-traveler Rip Hunter's crew. Newcomer Ciarra Renee plays Kendra Saunders, aka Hawkgirl. She was previously glimpsed in The Flash Season 1. She will be joined by Falk Hentschel, best known for his appearances in White House Down and Transcendence. He plays Carter Hall, aka Hawkman. Together, they will make their debut in the upcoming Arrow/The Flash crossover event planned for later this year.

It was reported last month that Casper Crump has signed on to play main villain Vandal Savage. First introduced in 1944, Vandal Savage has been one of the DC Universe's biggest heavies for over 70 years, frequently going up against the Justice Society and most recently fighting alongside Etrigan the Demon and Madame Xanadu in The New 52's Demon Knights. However, he's never been brought to live action life before (though he's appeared in animated movies and shows, including Justice League: Doom and Young Justice). Vandal Savage is immortal, having spent the past 6,000 years moving like a virulent disease through history, whispering in the ears of despots and dictators, all leading to his eventual domination of the world.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow also stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson, Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave and Brandon Routh as Atom. Caity Lotz's White Canary has also been confirmed to appear on Arrow early on in Season 4, to set up her resurrection as White Canary. The actress previously starred as Black Canary on The CW series, before she was killed in the Season 3 premiere.

When heroes alone are not enough... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat - one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Sarah Schechter and Marc Guggenheim will serve as executive producers of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Take a look at Hawkman and Hawkgirl as they prepare to rule Midway City.
