Curb Your Enthusiasm has officially started shooting Season 10. Fans who were worried that we might have to wait another six years for the tenth season can now breathe a sigh of relief. The ninth season was well-received, earning Larry David his sixth Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Emmy nomination. David, who co-created Seinfeld, never imagined that Curb would make it to 10 seasons and at the beginning of the show, he stated that they'd be lucky to have 2 or 3.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm tenth season renewal was announced back in December of last year, and fans of the cult-favorite series were unsure how long it would take Larry David to get back into the swing of things after finishing Season 9. At the time of the renewal, executive producer Jeff Schaffer revealed that the upcoming season hadn't been fully fleshed out, and then listed some things that weren't going to be included in the new season. He explains.

"Here's one thing I can tell you that did not happen. Larry wasn't killed. He does not come back like in the movie Ghost and make sweet love to Cheryl at a Brentwood Color Me Mine."

Season 9 of Curb Your Enthusiasm left us with the wreckage of Larry David's Fatwa! Musical, which he was making with Lin-Manuel Miranda and F. Murray Abraham. David ended up with a fatwa on his head for mocking the ayatollah, which was later rescinded. However, one Iranian man wasn't aware that David had been cleared and the season ended with Larry David running away from the man, fearing for his life. Season 10 story details are currently under wraps for the time being.

Back when Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9 launched, Larry David surprised fans when he said that he was strongly considering a tenth season. Seinfeld only did nine seasons and David has always been careful about overstaying his welcome. As for HBO, they're behind the comedian and have stated that if David makes it, they will air it. When asked about the reasoning behind making another season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, David had this to say.

"As I've said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so."

In addition to Larry David, it's believed that Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, who just wrapped shooting Spider-Man: Far From Home in New York City, and Cheryl Hines will be returning to Curb Your Enthusiasm for the upcoming season. Now that filming has started, we should start to see some regular updates in regard to the show as well as returning cast members and guest stars. Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Wanda Sykes are some of the recurring cast members who play fictionalized versions of themselves, and they will all more than likely make some cameos in the tenth season as well.

While we don't have to wait six years for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 10, it's unknown when it will premiere on HBO. But, now that production has started, it shouldn't be too long before we get to see Larry David back on the small screen. The hit series first debuted in 2000 and consists of 90 episodes, which will probably go up to 100 by the end of Season 10. The series has received a total of 43 Primetime Emmy Award nominations as well as three Golden Globe Awards over the years. The news of Curb Your Enthusiasm beginning production on Season 10 was first reported by Entertainment Weekly.
