The NBC comedy Community is taking advantage of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opening this weekend by presenting an extended trailer that takes fans beyond the darkest timeline. Along with poking fun at Peter Jackson's Middle Earth adventure, this trailer features guest stars Walton Goggins, Jonathan Banks, John Oliver and Rob Corddry, along with Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) making his return to Greendale. The video also hints at Donald Glover's abbreviated season (he is only appearing in five episodes this year), while referencing Zach Braff's brief stint on Scrubs Season 9, along with nods to series creator Dan Harmon's triumphant return and the show's "six seasons and a movie" slogan.
