Community creator Dan Harmon made his triumphant return to Comic-Con 2013 yesterday, hitting the stage wearing a full Iron Man costume, declaring himself a "multimillionaire playboy." The creator, who rejoined the series he created after being fired last year, showed a "fan appreciation" clip ending with the show's popular "six seasons and a movie" slogan, which is still the ongoing plan for the whole series.

A video featuring Joel McHale was also shown, where he encouraged fans to use their power on social media to keep the show going.

The creator was joined by Jim Rash (Dean Pelton), Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley), Alison Brie (Annie), Ken Jeong (Chang), Danny Pudi (Abed), Gillian Jacobs (Britta), and writer Chris McKenna. Dan Harmon revealed that this 13-episode Season 5 was the most important set of episodes in the show's history, revealing that he plans to get back to basics.

"Get ready for grounded story work! Who likes their characters dimensionalized?"

It was also revealed that an animated episode is being planned for Season 5, and that the show will be launched in syndication on Comedy Central starting September 20, giving fans a chance to catch up with the show before Season 5 starts sometime in midseason.

When asked by an audience member what each of the panelists want to see from their characters in Season 5, Yvette Nicole Brown revealed she wants to meet Shirley's sister, while Jim Rash wants to "unravel the Dean's craziness," and Alison Brie said she wants to see Annie regain her ambition.
