Fans who attended the panel for NBC's Revolution at Comic-Con 2013 yesterday were given a special surprise, when filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón hit the stage to unveil new footage from his first TV project, Believe, scheduled to debut in midseason on NBC. The story centers on a young woman named Bo (newcomer Johnny Sequoyah) who possesses amazing powers that will be fully developed in seven years. Jake McLaughlin plays Tate, a convict who escapes from prison on a mission to protect Bo from sinister forces who want to exploit her gifts. Take a look at the first footage from this upcoming series, executive produced by J.J. Abrams and also starring Delroy Lindo and Jamie Chung.

NBC hasn't announced exactly when Believe will debut next year, so stay tuned for that announcement.
