Netflix has already renewed their dark reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina for a second season of 16 episodes, which will be split into two parts. But before that hits us sometime in the next year or so, we have the second part of the first season (I know, it's a bit confusing) waiting in the wings to bring us more bewitching mayhem next Friday. And today we have the titles for the new season's upcoming nine episodes, which go a little something like this:

  • Chapter 12: The Epiphany
  • Chapter 13: The Passion of Sabrina Spellman
  • Chapter 14: Lupercalia
  • Chapter 15: Doctor Cerberus's House of Horror
  • Chapter 16: Blackwood
  • Chapter 17: The Missionaries
  • Chapter 18: The Miracles of Sabrina Spellman
  • Chapter 19: The Mandrake
  • Chapter 20: The Mephisto Waltz

The first and this second season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina were filmed back-to-back from March 19 through December 21, 2018, so this really is more in line with a second part of season one as opposed to an all-new second season. But, really, who's counting? Anyhow, those are some provocative titles, I must say. Especially with Chapter 13's "The Passion of Sabrina Spellman." My favorite title of the bunch has to go to Chapter 15's "Doctor Cerberus's House of Horror" if only because it sounds like just the kind of haunted house I would love to attend on a Halloween night.

One bit from this title reveal trailer that struck me as pretty hilarious is that there is a quick shot of Tati Gabrielle's Prudence Night chopping off the head of the statue. Again, this is pretty damn funny as you might remember back in November, the Satanic Temple sued the series' over the use of the statue of Baphomet, which they claimed was a direct copy of their icon and portrayed the Temple in an inaccurate and derogatory way. Anyhow, all of that back-and-forth has been dealt with and left in the dust, but it seems the powers that be behind the scenes still feel the need for a little ribbing. Even if Prudence isn't actually chopping off the head of the statue of Baphomet (can you imagine the controversy THAT would bring about?) I still think it was a quick jab at the Satanists. At least I thought it was funny.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 will see the return of not only Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, but also Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, and maybe Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell / Madam Satan. Jaz Sinclair will join them as Rosalind "Roz" Walker, Tati Gabrielle as Prudence Night, Adeline Rudolph as Agatha, Richard Coyle as Father Faustus Blackwood, and Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on the Archie Comics title of the same name. Aguirre-Sacasa also serves as the show's executive producer along with Greg Berlanti, Lee Toland Krieger, Jon Goldwater, and Sarah Schechter. The second season arrives to continue the story of Sabrina, a teenage witch on April 5, 2019. This update comes to us from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina over on Twitter.
