It was reported earlier this week that Bill Cosby was hit in the face with a chicken patty while in prison, but it has been deemed "fake news" by a facility official. Cosby has had a pretty rough time since arriving at SCI Phoenix Prison a few weeks ago. The disgraced comedian was welcomed to the facility with a stale hot dog bun to the face, which caused the legally blind Cosby to fall down some steps.

Earlier this week, a false report began to spread about a fellow inmate confronting The Cosby Show star after a joke wasn't well-received. The inmate than allegedly threw a chicken patty that hit Cosby in the face. An official from the SCI Phoenix facility released a statement that reads, "This did not happen, and I am unhappy with anyone who is reporting such fake news." The prison, which just opened this year, already has a pretty negative reputation, and throwing a chicken patty will not be tolerated, apparently. Plus, one has to doubt that Cosby is telling jokes to fellow inmates.

While the chicken patty incident was quickly deemed false, the facility has yet to say anything about the stale hot dog bun hitting Bill Cosby in the face. It isn't clear if the prison even serves a chicken patty. For his first evening there, Cosby was served baked meatballs and rice, green beans, as well as mashed potatoes and gravy, along with some Jell-O Pudding. With that being said, it's easy to see where the chicken patty rumor came from, since the comedian has already gotten hit in the head with food before.

If that wasn't enough, Bill Cosby also has O.J. Simpson giving him advice about how to stay safe in prison. While giving the advice, Simpson noted that rapists aren't treated very well behind bars, which is pretty interesting, considering the source. Simpson spent nine years behind bars for kidnapping and armed robbery, so he definitely knows what goes on in prison, but he was apparently treated better than the rapists. Simpson also stated that Cosby should be put in protective custody during his 3 to 10 year stint at the SCI Phoenix facility.

Bill Cosby is currently undergoing an evaluation period to figure out where in the general population he will be placed. For now, he's in a single cell, and is reportedly in good spirits, according to officials at the SCI Phoenix facility. The comedian's health and other factors are being looked at to find the best placement. Officials say that they aren't worried about putting Cosby in general population, but that doesn't mean something could go wrong. One inmate has died while in custody and the prison staff has already been accused of hate crimes and abuse since the facility opened in July of this year, which doesn't exactly sound like a lot of fun.
