Netflix has released a brand-new NSFW trailer for Big Mouth Season 2 and it introduces the Shame Wizard, the Hormone Monster's mortal enemy. The adult animated sitcom was created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett. It's based on the teenage years of Kroll and Goldberg, who grew up in Westchester County, New York. Season 1 of the Netflix series was a huge hit and Season 2 was ordered less than a month after the first season wrapped late last year.

From the looks of things, Big Mouth Season 2 has found a way to ramp up the confusion and humiliation of adolescence, making the first season look tame, even in the latest 2-minute trailer. The Shame Wizard is introduced as he haunts the kids, making them feel shame for their natural feelings, which obviously have to do with the ups and downs of puberty. The new character, voiced by David Thewlis, will more than likely come face to face with the Hormone Monsters at some point in the new series, which returns to Netflix on October 5th.

In addition to the Shame Wizard, Gina Rodriguez is on board for Season 2 of Big Mouth as the voice of Gina. Gina has developed faster than the other middle school girls and gets a lot of attention from both sexes while she plays soccer. The Hormone Monster decides to fly into the school with an embarrassing banner for Andrew as he and his friends check out Gina on the playground and he ends up having to run off to the restroom. The NSFW animated show also stars Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele (who voices the ghosts of Duke Ellington and Freddie Mercury), Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate, and Jessi Klein.

Season 2 of Big Mouth consists of 10 episodes and continues to turn the scary moments of adolescence into literal monsters that only the affected tween can see. The young boys and girls have a special bond with their Hormone Monster who they're often revolted by. The kids also rely on the Hormone Monsters for sage-like advice when they can't get it from anywhere else. While Big Mouth isn't for everybody, it takes an interesting look at growing up, and puts a unique spin on a story that has been told on television for decades.

If you haven't checked out Big Mouth yet, there's still plenty of time to go back and binge watch the first season on Netflix right now to prepare for the October 5th return. Just make sure that you're in an area where you can watch a show that deals with a lot of NSFW topics and shows off some pretty graphic animated imagery. The Hormone Monsters are ready to take us back to that special time of growing up with a whole set of crazy adventures.
