More Hormone Monsters are coming to Netflix! The streaming service has signed a multi-year deal with the Big Mouth creators, Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett, through their newly formed animation production company, Brutus Pink. Under this deal, the bold creators will produce animated series and films, including three more seasons of their critically acclaimed series, Big Mouth. Season 3 returns this fall, and at least three more seasons will follow.

The irreverent animated comedy is inspired by Kroll and Goldberg's childhood and the chaotic nightmare of puberty. It follows a group of friends and their Hormone Monsters, which are literally physical manifestations, as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age. The adult comedy has been nominated for two Emmys. This coming weekend, the creators are set to receive an award for comedy writers of the year at the largest international comedy festival in the world, Just For Laughs in Montreal.

Netflix currently carries a slew of other adult animated comedies including: BoJack Horseman, F Is for Family, Disenchantment, and Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series. The head of adult animation for the streaming service, Mike Moon, had this to say.

"Big Mouth brilliantly captures the most awkward phase in a person's life, puberty,  in a hilarious yet heartwarming way. We couldn't be more excited to continue our relationship with Brutus Pink and bring more stories, more humor, and more hormones to Netflix members around the world."

Moon's "around the world" is referring to Netflix's over 151 million paid memberships in over 190 countries. More stories from Brutus Pink may include a variety of other projects. The production company aims to create both film and series that are adult, funny and emotional. In a joint statement, the Brutus Pink team had this to say:

"Netflix has given us the best creative experience imaginable, and we've been able to build an amazing community of talented writers, actors, producers and artists.  We're thrilled to be continuing with everyone for years to come."

Season 2 of Big Mouth introduced us to the adult version of Inside Out full of other worlds and sexuality crises. When Nick, Andrew and Jessi enter a portal left by Nick's old Hormone Monster, Tyler, they find the Human Resources department, where all the Hormone Monsters come from. We see a meeting about Jessi's future with Ambition Gremlin, D. N. Ape, Intellect Sphinx, Hormone Monstress and Anxiety Armadillo. With the arrival of Depression Kitty, Jessi realizes she needs to go to therapy. Meanwhile, Nick is looking for a new Hormone Monster and manages to find common ground with Shame Wizard. Jay, on the other hand, is in the real world, struggling to accept his bisexuality. The rest of the season follows the usual antics of the kids dealing with life during puberty, but ends on a cliffhanger as Jessie's Hormone Monster, Connie, will be taking over Nick's puberty as well.

The show's sharp wit and powerful symbolism and metaphors have made it a fan-favorite. The new deal promises more to come! Season 3 of Big Mouth is expected to return this upcoming fall. Keep an eye on us for all your Netflix coverage. This update came direct from the Netflix is a Joke Twitter.
