Kaley Cuoco is looking back at the one year anniversary of The Big Bang Theory series finale. The massively successful series ran for 12 seasons on CBS. The one-hour series finale tied up all of the loose ends and it was a very emotional time for the cast, along with the fans who had spent over a decade watching their favorite characters develop over time, while going through major milestones in their own lives. To say that the show has been missed in the last year would be a massive understatement.

As it turns out, The Big Bang Theory cast and crew were in talks for a possible 13th season, but Jim Parsons believed they had told all of the stories they could over the course of their 12 seasons together. It was then decided that season 12 would be the final one. Kaley Cuoco had this to say on the one-year anniversary of the show coming to an end.

"A year ago today we aired our BBT series finale... people ask me every day, was it hard to move on? Was I sad? Happy? How could I do anything else after? How would it compare? Do I miss it? The truth is , the show changed my life in 100 different ways and no matter where my career takes me, I will always owe it to this show and the brains behind it. 'Never forget where you came from, and never take your eyes off where you're heading.'"

Kaley Cuoco's co-star Kunal Nayyar previously shared a picture of the cast's final taping. He said, "As I reflect on this year, it has been one of change." Nayyar went on to talk about how great the uncertainty of change can be, though it can be scary at times. He continued by noting, "Because at the end of the day, all is precious, all is precious, all is precious." The cast of The Big Bang Theory were, and still continue to be, a tightknit group.

While season 12 as a whole was a bit on the uneven side, The Big Bang Theory fans believe they were able to pull it together for the series finale. For fans who may have missed out on the entire season, the whole series is available on Blu-ray and Digitally. However, the series will be able to be streamed at the end of this month when HBO Max finally launches.

Since The Big Bang Theory came to an end, Kaley Cuoco has returned to the universe once. She showed up in an uncredited cameo in Young Sheldon. In the episode, Sheldon dreamed about talking to pool water before a swim test, with Cuoco providing the voice. She has also used her voice in the new Harley Quinn animated series as the main character. You can check out Kaley Cuoco's Instagram post about the series coming to a close above.
