We have a brand new teaser trailer for BH90210. This is the revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 that we first got wind of in December 2018. Reviving once popular TV shows for modern audiences has become all the rage in Hollywood over the last handful of years and this is the latest series to be added to that list. Though, this one comes with something of a meta twist, as it will actually focus on versions of the actors who starred in the original show, as opposed to a revival of the show itself.

This new Beverly Hills, 90210 revival teaser speaks to that, as we see the gang gathered back together for a table read. Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering all appear and they look to be having a wonderful time with one another. The whole thing is set to the tune of It Ain't Over Till It's Over by Lenny Kravitz. The teaser also confirms a premiere date for BH90210, which is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7.

Unfortunately, the teaser doesn't give us much to chew on in terms of what we can expect when it comes to the tone or how it's going to look when it makes its way to air. But it's surely nice for fans to see almost everyone back together again. The series will feature all of the aforementioned stars playing heightened versions of themselves. They reunite and gather together once again in order to discuss the possibility of a 90210 revival. Again, very meta. Jennie Garth had this to say in regards to explaining the plot of the show.

"The premise of this show, it's about the characters behind the characters. It's inside the lives of people that lived in those shoes for those 10 years, and it's about them coming back together. It's really hard to do that show justice in a reboot, so we didn't want to even try. We wanted to come at it with a totally different, fresh perspective, while still honoring the show and paying homage to all the characters that the fans are going to really love."

Beverly Hills, 90210 kicked off an incredibly successful multi-series franchise when it first debuted in 1990. The series ran for a total of 10 seasons totaling 293 episodes. This new series was co-created by stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, alongside Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler. In addition to the teaser, some new photos have also made their way online, giving us additional looks at the cast interacting with one another behind the scenes.

Sadly, Luke Perry passed away earlier this year. Though the actor had not officially signed on to return in the new series, it's expected that he would have. It's believed that the show will pay tribute to the star in some way. Be sure to check out the new BH90210 teaser, as well as the new photos, below, which were initially shared by Entertainment Weekly.
