AMC has released the full-length trailer for Better Call Saul Season 4 and it begins to show how Jimmy became Saul Goodman. The previous three seasons have been able to separate the series from Breaking Bad and Goodman's fate, introducing new characters and giving a fascinating sight into how everything came together. It's been a good run for the hit AMC show, which has done an excellent job treading a new path for itself. The new Season 4 trailer arrives ahead of the official premiere on Monday, August 6th, which is now only a few weeks away.

The latest trailer for Better Call Saul hints at the deep impact that the death of Chuck had on Jimmy McGill. Chuck was a guiding light for his brother, who now more so than ever, looks to be getting into the seedy underground of drugs and the business with Gus Fring. Giancarlo Esposito's Gus Fring looks like he'll have a much larger role in Season 4 as Jimmy starts to slowly morph into Saul Goodman. We're finally about to see how Jimmy broke bad in the upcoming season. The trailer doesn't explain how everything falls together, so we'll just have to tune in and see how it all works out in a few weeks.

It's taken three seasons to get to know all of these characters from Better Call Saul and the fourth seems to be the season that will slowly unravel everything as Jimmy McGill enters a new stage of his life on the wrong side of the law. Jonathan Banks' Mike Ehrmantraut character is taking on a more active role as Madrigal Electromotive's newest (and most thorough) security consultant, and will also play a bigger role. Season 4 will also show just how dangerous it is to be employed by Gus Fring. For those waiting for a stronger connection to Breaking Bad, this season is going to be the one to tie everything together.

Saul Goodman was first introduced in Season 2 of Breaking Bad back in 2009 as a comic foil to Bryan Cranston's overly serious Walter White. Bob Odenkirk's portrayal of Saul was instantly a fan-favorite, so it was amazing news when creator Vince Gilligan announced Better Call Saul after Breaking Bad had ended. Now, fans are waiting to see Cranston and Aaron Paul make an appearance on the spin-off, which the two actors have publicly expressed interest in doing. However, it looks like we may have to wait until Season 5 for that reunion.

Jimmy McGill is on his way into turning into Saul Goodman in the upcoming Season 4 of Better Call Saul and the stakes have never been higher. It will be interesting to see how everything weaves together for the characters who will be exposed to a whole new world of consequences and job descriptions.
