The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about get kicked into high gear with Phase Three, which starts with Captain America: Civil War, debuting on May 6. This massive phase will culminate with Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II, which is believed to unite the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many have wondered if this means that the studio's Netflix TV shows such as Marvel's Daredevil will be crossing over to the movie side for Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II, but that may not be the case. While doing press with ET Online, Marvel's Daredevil star Charlie Cox revealed that he thinks the studio may actually re-cast the Man Without Fear.

"I have not received that call! Could you imagine? That would be the coolest thing ever. I have no idea how... Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesn't necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose! That would be a dream. But that is not something that has been discussed with me at this point."

Long before Daredevil debuted on Netflix, it was confirmed that this series, along with Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist, will be part of the MCU. While none of these TV stars have crossed over onto the big screen yet, they are set in the same universe, so it could be possible. However, there could be one detail that could get in the way of Charlie Cox joining Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II.

Last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige restructured his deal with Disney so he wouldn't have to answer to Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter, which meant that the movie side of the MCU is is essentially under Disney's control. However, Ike Perlmutter still oversees the Marvel TV division, which could be a reason why a character like Daredevil, who falls under Ike Perlmutter's purview, may be re-cast. Of course, the Man Without Fear hasn't even been confirmed to join Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II yet.

Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo recently teased that there will be a whopping 67 characters in the two-part adventure, but they later clarified that was not an exact number. Still, it wouldn't be surprising for the actual character count to be somewhere in that ballpark, so maybe the Man Without Fear could be joining the fight against Thanos after all. What do you think about the possibility of Daredevil being recast for Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II?
