The hit animated series Avengers Assemble is now Avengers: Black Panther's Quest for the fifth season, and we finally have the first trailer. The series puts the focus on Wakanda this time around, with T'Challa and Shuri taking the lead. As for other allies, Iron Man and Captain America are spotted in the trailer, along with some pretty humorous situations with Tony Stark. The action looks intense and King T'Challa seems to get annoyed with just about everything. James Mathis III is back as the voice of Black Panther/T'Challa.

Avengers: Black Panther's Quest takes place as a mysterious threat rises to take out Wakanda. T'Challa is forced to make new alliances along with his sister Shuri, who is voiced by Daisy Lightfoot. The series makes Black Panther decide "what kind of king, what kind of Avenger, and what kind of man he will be" with the help of new and old friends. Tony Story mentions that they're practically family in the trailer, so one can imagine that we'll be seeing a lot of help from him.

T'Challa is going to have to find a balance between protecting Wakanda and his people while trying to save the world in Avengers: Black Panther's Quest. From the trailer, the show looks pretty awesome and will certainly be big after the success of Ryan Coogler's Black Panther, which made just over $700 million in North America alone. Additionally, it was the first movie in eight years to spend five weeks at number one and made over $1.3 billion worldwide. It seems that it was a wise choice to put Wakanda as the focal point for the latest season of Avengers Assemble.

Killmonger (Keston John), M'Baku, Klau (Trevor Paul), Zemo, Madame Masque (Wynn Everett), and Tiger Shark (Matt Mercer) will also be featured in Avengers: Black Panther's Quest, along with Bucky Barnes/White Wolf (Scott Porter). Wynn Everett is reprising her role of Masque after first playing the character in the live-action Agent Carter series. Additional voices for the series include Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee and Star Wars actor Mark Hamill. Hamill is taking on Arnim Zola, who he has voiced in the past and Lee's role is a bit of a mystery for now.

Avengers: Black Panther's Quest premieres September 23rd on Disney XD. It's not clear at this time how many episodes there will be in total for the fifth season of Avengers Assemble, but previous seasons have had either 25 or 26 episodes, meaning that there's going to be plenty of animated T'Challa to go around. As for the big screen version of the character, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are hoping to see T'Challa come back in Avengers 4, after getting turned to dust by Thanos. While we wait to find out, you can watch the trailer for Avengers: Black Panther's Quest below, provided by the Disney XD YouTube channel.
