Starz has released the first trailer for Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 3 on Halloween, which is fitting since the series debuted exactly two years ago today on the cable network. Fans got their first look at Ash's daughter, Brandy Barr (Arielle Carver-O'Neill) in new photos released earlier this month, but this trailer gives us our first footage with Ash's daughter, who isn't exactly thrilled to find out that this "chainsaw geek" is her old man. Still, she does seem to owe him, since Ash and his team save her and her friend's life after a costumed Deadite shows up at her school. Though, the trailer's most intriguing shot comes at the end, where Ash seemingly gets his right hand back.

Unfortunately, there isn't any context given with this shot, but this Ash vs. Evil Dead Season 3 footage does briefly show Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) examining his seemingly-real right hand. He is also wearing a dress sweater, which is quite out of character for him, so perhaps this is part of a flashback or a dream sequence. After all, Ash is back in his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan, which will surely bring up memories of his days before he had a chainsaw hand. How exactly this shot fits into the story remains to be seen.

The trailer begins with Ash's daughter and her friend cleaning off graffiti from one of the school lockers, when they find a Deadite dressed in a bear costume, covered in blood. Ash steps in to fight this deadly creature, along with his team of Deadite hunters. We also get footage of Brandy finding out from her mom that Ash is her dad, while Pablo Simon Bolivar (Ray Santiago) tells his "hefe" that evil has returned, with a particularly gruesome shot of Lucy Lawless' Ruby Knowby, covered in blood and her entire torso cut open. We also get another scene where Ruby drops a cryptic threat, stating that, "I'd hate to see anything happen to your precious little girl," which causes Ash to go into protect mode, stating that you, "never get between a papa bear and his cub."

This trailer also comes a few days after Bruce Campbell called out illegal downloaders in an interview, stating that it's one of the most illegally downloaded shows, even though the show hasn't been in the top 10 most pirated shows list put out by TorrentFreak at the end of every year. Fans of the show in Los Angeles and Orlando can also visit the new Ash vs. Evil Dead maze at Halloween Horror Nights for a few more days, with the long-running event happening tonight on Halloween, while closing out its run on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. With the new season not airing until February 25, 2018, instead of its usual fall premiere, this Halloween Horror Nights maze may be the best way to get into the Ash vs. Evil Dead spirit before the show comes back on Starz.

Grab your chainsaws and watch out for Deadites because the grooviest show on TV returns in all its Ash-kicking splendor with more grisly battles, ghoulish banter and more blood-drenched fun than ever. The highly anticipated 10-episode third season of Starz's Original horror-comedy series Ash vs Evil Dead will premiere on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 9PM ET/PT. The wickedly gore-filled series stars Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, the chainsaw-wielding anti-hero tasked with saving the world from evil; Lucy Lawless as Ruby, the unpredictable foe and occasional ally who has strong ties to the origin of the "Necronomicon;" Ray Santiago plays Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash's loyal sidekick and eternal optimist; and Dana DeLorenzo returns as Kelly Maxwell, orphaned in Season One and ready to kick some evil ass.

The upcoming season also finds Ash discovering his long lost daughter, Brandy Barr, played by newcomer Arielle Carver-O'Neill (House Husbands, Suburbs, Conspiracy 365). The third season finds Ash's status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby's fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn't done with them.
