Starz released today the key art and official trailer for season three of its Original series Ash Vs. Evil Dead, set to premiere on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at 9PM ET/PT. Unlike the last trailer, which was just a throwback ad for Shemps Beer, this trailer actually features plenty of new footage, revealing that Ash has become a pitchman in his hometown. The trailer opens with Ash Williams revealing he's used his chainsaw hand on monsters and demons, but now he's using it to "slash prices," in an ad for a local hardware store. The trailer also shows his first interaction with Candace (Candy) Barr, his ex-wife, who reveals that they have a daughter, who has been attacked by the new monsters that have come to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan.

The third season finds Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long lost daughter who's been entrusted in his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby's fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn't done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub. The trailer shows the reunion of Ash with Kelly and Pablo, as they meet Ash's daughter, whose name he can't remember. We also get a brief glimpse at Ruby (Lucy Lawless), who teases that a supernatural war is coming, while insinuating that she'd harm Ash's daughter, if need be.

There is one particularly interesting scene in the trailer, where Ash Williams states that evil is after his offspring, "the born and unborn," which features a brief scene at at sperm bank, where a creature is seen shooting vials of semen at Ash. It seems that Ash had his sperm preserved in his hometown, and now a horde of evil creatures are trying to get their hands on it. There is also another rather intriguing scene that shows Kelly has been possessed by a spirit, with this "new Kelly" pointing a gun at Pablo, telling him to thank Kelly for letting her use her body. There is also a rather hilarious scene where Brandy kills a monster, with Ash proclaiming that he's never been prouder, along with a brief scene with a Deadite cell phone, and a glimpse at one of the biggest creatures Ash has had to face.

While there isn't much known about this creature, which is also showcased on the poster below, it comes out from underneath the street, with Pablo revealing that this creature is the "final test." The final shot features Ash with a rather large mechanical hand, in place of his chainsaw hand, brandishing a huge knife, telling the monster to, "Come get some." With just over a month until the February 25 Season 3 premiere date, it remains to be seen how much more footage will be released between now and then.

Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, Burn Notice) leads the cast, reprising the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (Salem, Spartacus) as Ruby, devises her most diabolical plan to defeat Ash and raise hell on earth; Ray Santiago (Touch, Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, forever loyal to Jefe (Ash) will realize his true destiny in the battle against evil; and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, whose single goal is to kill Ruby and end the Evil Dead torment once and for all. New to the cast for season three are Arielle Carver-O'Neill (House Husbands) as Brandy Barr, Ash's long lost daughter left in his care when her mother meets an untimely demise; Lindsay Farris (Home and Away, Primal) as Dalton, leader of an ancient order called the Knights of Sumeria, who seek Ash to lead their fight against The Dark Ones. Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) returns as Brock Williams to warn Ash from beyond the grave. While Ash vs. Evil Dead Season 3 was delayed for several months, fans should be chomping at the bit for new episodes when the new season arrives next month.
