We have ourselves a new look at Arrow season 7. This comes directly from star Stephen Amell, who has shared a new poster for the upcoming season, which sees his character locked up behind bars and looking pretty worse for the wear. This upcoming run of episodes is positioned to be unlike anything we've seen from the series previously, with the identity of the Green Arrow made public and the man behind the mask in prison as a result.

This art for Arrow season 7 makes it clear that Oliver isn't going to have an easy go of things during his time in prison. We see Oliver wearing a green prison uniform, head shaved, with his body bruised and scabbed. He's locked up quite a few people over the last six seasons and, unfortunately, he's now going to be locked up with them. Ben Turner (Michael Jai White), Derek Sampson (Cody Runnels) and Danny "Brick" Brickwell (Vinnie Jones) are all scheduled to run into the DC hero during his time behind bars this fall.

In Arrow season 7, there has been no shortage of close calls for Oliver Queen when it comes to protecting his superhero identity, but in the season six finale, he was finally backed into a corner and forced to reveal himself to the world as the Green Arrow. Now, Oliver will come face-to-face with many of the criminals he placed behind bars, as he makes a new home for himself at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, challenging him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

Oliver and Team Arrow are also going to have to contend with The Longbow Hunters this season, who made it their personal mission to kill the hero in the pages of DC Comics. The Longbow Hunters consist of Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), Red Dart (Holly Elissa), Kodiak (Michael Jonsson), and Silencer (Miranda Edwards). Season 7 will pick up five months after the events of the season 6 finale, so there will be a pretty significant passage of time and a lot that could have happened in that time.

While Oliver Queen is locked up for now, he's set to break out for the Arrowverse crossover event this December. Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl will participate this year as they head to Gotham city where we'll be introduced to Ruby Rose's Batwoman. Tyler Hoechlin will also return as Superman and the Arrowverse version of Lois Lane is set to be introduced. How exactly Oliver will make his way out of this current predicament to join up with his fellow heroes remains to be seen. Arrow season 7 is set to debut on The CW on Monday, October 15.
