Back in August, we reported that FX picked up the comedy series Anger Management for another 90 episodes, after a successful 10-episode first season. With such a large order, it wasn't immediately clear how the network planned on spreading out these new episodes. Today, we have our answer, courtesy of FX president John Landgraf, who revealed that the Charlie Sheen series will basically run uninterrupted for the next two years. Take a look at what the network president had to say.
"It will stay on the air with no interruption for two years, basically 45 episodes a year."
The network has also released publicity photos and photo galleries for the first two episodes of Season 2, "Charlie Loses It at a Baby Shower" and "Charlie's Dad Starts to Lose It",debuting Thursday, January 17 at 9 PM ET on FX.
Martin Sheen, who guest starred in the Season 1 episode "Charlie's Dad Visits", will recur as the on-screen father of Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Goodson. Shawnee Smith, Selma Blair, Daniela Bobadilla, Michael Arden, Noureen DeWulf, Barry Corbin, and Derek Richardson also star.
