FX's hit horror anthology series American Horror Story closed out PaleyFest at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood last night, where Emmy-winning series star Jessica Lange confirmed that she will not be back for Season 5, which we reported last month will be entitled American Horror Story: Hotel. However, two more cast members were also announced during the event. Matthew Bomer and Cheyenne Jacksonnwill star alongside the previously-confirmed Lady Gaga. Here's what Jessica Lange had to say, confirming her four-season run on American Horror Story has come to an end.

"Yes, I'm done. We've had a great run here. I mean, I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I love the writers and Ryan (Murphy) and the insanity of shooting it."

During her four seasons on the show, Jessica Lange won two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and a SAG Award for her different characters. In the first season of American Horror Story, the actress played Southern Belle Constance Langdon. This was before it was known that the show is actually a horror anthology that will feature a different story line and characters every each season. In Season 2, American Horror Story: Asylum, she played the conniving nun Sister Jude Martin, followed by the witch Fiona Goode in American Horror Story: Coven and carnival leader Elsa Mars in American Horror Story: Freak Show.

As far as Matthew Bomer's new character, the actor wouldn't confirm or deny that there is a "love connection" with Lady Gaga's character. Here's what he had to say during the PaleyFest panel.

"I can't confirm or deny that there might be a love interest."

Matthew Bomer also had a guest-starring stint on American Horror Story: Freak Show as Andy, a male prostitute that gets murdered by serial killer Dandy, but it isn't known if those two characters will be connected or not. Series creator Ryan Murphy teased last year that every season of the show is connected in some way or another, despite being set in different locations and time periods. All that is known about Matthew Bomer's involvement is that he will have a lead role, and nothing was revealed about Cheyenne Jackson's character either.

Matthew Bomer, who is best known for starring in USA Network's White Collar, has worked with Ryan Murphy on his HBO TV movie The Normal Heart, and he has also guest-starred in Glee and The New Normal which Ryan Murphy produced. He will next be seen on the big screen in the Warner Bros. sequel Magic Mike XXL. Cheyenne Jackson most recently starred in Love Is Strange and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.
