Step Up star Jenna Dewan-Tatum has landed a pivotal role in Season 2 of American Horror Story, which is currently in production. It isn't known how many episodes she will appear in at this time.

The actress will play the other half of "The Lovers," alongside The Voice judge and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. Little is known about the couple, except that they play an important role in this season's story line. The new episodes will be set in an East Coast mental institution.

Other cast members this year include Season 1 alums Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Zachary Quinto, along with new additions James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Chloë Sevigny, Britne Oldford, Clea DuVall, and Lizzie Brocheré. All of the returning actors will play different characters this season.

FX has not announced a specific premiere date for American Horror Story Season 2, although it is believed to debut sometime in October.
