The American Horror Story season 10 cast has been announced. Series creator Ryan Murphy announced the news in a video posted to his Instagram, which is set to Orville Peck's "Dead of Night." Macaulay Culkin seems to be getting the most attention since it was just revealed that he is taking on a mystery role in the hit FX series. Culkin most-recently appeared on an episode of Hulu's Dollface, opposite his real-life girlfriend, Brenda Song. He also recently revealed that he tried out for a part in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

American Horror Story season 10 will also feature Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who both sat out on season 9. The last season was the first of the hit FX series not to include Paulson and Peters. Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock will also star in the upcoming tenth season. No title or storyline has been revealed by Ryan Murphy at this time, though he will more than likely announce something in the near future.

While no story details have been revealed for American Horror Story season 10 at this time, the video Ryan Murphy posted may hold some clues. We could be looking at a gloomy beach location for the next chapter, or Murphy could have just been bored at the beach and decided to take a quick video. We'll find out soon enough once further casting is announced and as production gets closer to kicking off. Last season was a tribute to classic 1980s slashers.

For now, most of the world is interested in what Macaulay Culkin will be doing on American Horror Story. The actor is pretty much able to pick and choose the projects he wants to be a part of, though that wasn't the case with Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Culkin freely admits that he failed the audition, noting that he does not like the audition process at all. This would leave one to believe that there was no audition for his upcoming role on the hit FX horror series, which is already renewed for Seasons 11 and 12 as well.

Macaulay Culkin talked about his love for acting in a recent interview. "I enjoy acting. I enjoy being on set," he said. "I don't enjoy a lot of the other things that come around it." A lot of actors don't enjoy the business side of things in the entertainment industry, but it is necessary for most, though Culkin seems to have carved out a pretty decent niche for himself. "I've built a really nice prison for myself. It's soft. It's sweet. It smells nice. You know? It's plush," he says. It will be interesting to see what kind of role he takes on in American Horror Story season 10. You can check out the cast announcement below, thanks to Ryan Murphy's Instagram account.
