Marvel's Agent Carter is still casting main characters as it begins production for it's debut this winter, serving as a bridge between Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2's two halves. Joining the ABC series today is actor Kyle Bornheimer, best known for his roles in Veronica Mars, She's Out of My League and Bachelorette.

Kyle Bornheimer is set to play Agent Ray Krzeminski, who will clash with Hayley Atwell as the title character Agent Peggy Carter.

The story will pick-up shortly after Captain America: The First Avenger, at the end of WWII. Peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life-Steve Rogers.

Ray Krzeminski is an agent of the Strategic Scientific Reserve, and is not based on a preexisting character in the Marvel comic book universe.

Marvel's Agent Carter will debut in 2015 on ABC.
