Following ABC's renewal of the comedy Happy Endings, the network has issued renewals for Scandal, Body of Proof, Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23, and Private Practice. On the flip side, the network has canceled the first-year shows Pan Am, Missing, GCB, and The River.

Body of Proof and Private Practice were both given 13-episode orders, although it isn't clear how many episodes Scandal and Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23 will receive in their second seasons. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, it is believed this sixth season of Private Practice will be its last. The Tuesday night comedy Last Man Standing is also said to be nearing a renewal, but nothing is official yet.

It remains to be seen where ABC will put Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23 on its schedule, with all of its Wednesday night comedies (The Middle, Suburgatory, Modern Family, and Happy Endings) receiving renewals earlier today.

Pan Am, Missing, GCB, and The River were all thought to be dead for some time, but now it's official.

ABC will release its full 2012-2013 schedule next week, so stay tuned.
