The cast of The Brady Bunch is getting back together for their upcoming HGTV series, and they've recreated the classic sitcom's opening for the new show. Called A Very Brady Renovation, the series brings in all six cast members who previously played the Brady children, teaming them up with famous designers to renovate the home used as the Brady Bunch house. Ahead of A Very Brady Renovation's premiere on Sept. 9, we have a first look at the show's intro segment, which humorously spoofs the intro of the classic sitcom.

Set to the tune of the Brady Bunch theme song, the intro for A Very Brady Renovation sums up the premise of the series in its own way. "Here's the story, of a TV family, who we all thought lived inside this famous home. But the real house we all remember, was not at all as shown," the cast members sing to various clips of the series. The song goes on to say: "So we bought the place and brought back all the Bradys. Who know every room and corner in and out. And we paired them with the HGTV family, that's the way we all remade the Brady house." Of course, the clip ends with the various members of the cast looking at each other on the screen from their own separate boxes, clearly replicating The Brady Bunch.

From the classic series, A Very Brady Renovation is bringing in Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Barry Williams (Greg), Eve Plumb (Jan), Christopher Knight (Peter), Susan Olsen (Cindy), and Mike Lookinland (Bobby). Also included in the cast are Jonathan and Drew Scott (The Property Brothers), Mina Starsiak and Karen E. Laine (Good Bones), Lara Spencer (Flea Market Flip), Leanne and Steve Ford (Restored by the Fords), and Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential). The new show will be teaming each Brady actor up with the various professional designers, giving each of them a room in the house to transform based on their memories of working on The Brady Bunch. While the interior shots of the sitcom were filmed elsewhere, the goal of the HGTV series will be to replicate the interior of the home as seen on the classic series for the home renovation.

Of course, three prominent cast members from The Brady Bunch are noticeably absent here as they are no longer with us. Robert Reed passed away in 1992 and Florence Henderson died in 2016; as Mike and Carol Brady, the two made up one of television's most legendary on-screen couples of all time. Ann B. Davis, who entertained viewers as Alice the maid and later had a cameo in the 1995 movie, also sadly passed away back in 2014. Certainly, as such vital members of the cast, their presence continues to be missed in Brady Bunch cast reunions such as this one.

A Very Brady Renovation premieres on HGTV on Sept. 9 at 9pm ET/PT. While not quite the same as a series revival, the show does look to be a fun way of checking back in with the Brady family as the cast gets the opportunity to preserve the historic house. The first look at the show's intro can be seen at People.com.
