Two and a Half Men is about to get another dose of motherly advice in Season 9, with Mimi Rogers signing on for a guest-starring role.

The actress will play the mother of Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) in at least two episodes this season, although it isn't known when Mimi Rogers' debut episode will air. It is said that Mimi Rogers' character is a celebrated primatologist, a scientist who studies apes.

Ashton Kutcher took over for the embattled Charlie Sheen in Season 9, portraying Walden Schmidt, a bizarre millionaire who buys Charlie Harper's house after his untimely death, and allows Alan (Jon Cryer) and Jake (Angus T. Jones) to keep living in the house.

Despite the loss of Charlie Sheen, Two and a Half Men continues to perform well in the Monday night 9 PM time slot on CBS. Last night's episode, Thanks For the Intercourse, pulled in 14.5 million viewers.
