The Simpsons will soon take on spoilers and popular superhero movies in an upcoming episode of its current season, and Marvel's Kevin Feige along with Joseph and Anthony Russo will all be featured in special guest voice roles. With movies like Avengers: Endgame making superhero movies bigger than ever, it's the perfect time for The Simpsons to spoof these kinds of films, along with the controversy provided by the inevitable spoilers. It's also certainly an awesome detail for the show to include the actual voices of three of the major players behind the MCU with Feige and the Russos. The episode in particular is called "Bart the Bad Guy," and it will air early next year on Feb. 23.

Information has also been revealed about the episode and the characters Kevin Feige and the Russos will be voicing. It starts with Bart getting mistaken for a terminally ill child, granting him access to see the next unreleased sequel in the fictitious Vindicator superhero movie franchise. Armed with the full details of the movie's plot, Bart then uses the spoilers as blackmail to get what he wants. Meanwhile, the Russo Brothers will be playing two movie executives whose job is to keep Bart's spoiler knowledge a secret at all costs. As for Feige, the Marvel head has a cameo as the evil alien supervillain in the Vindicator movie - a parody of Thanos cleverly named Chinnos. It's safe to expect plenty of other gags related to other Marvel movies and characters as well.

Kevin Feige is the president and chief creative officer of Marvel Studios, and he has been producing Marvel movies since Iron Man in 2007. Meanwhile, Joseph and Anthony Russo are best known for directing four separate movies in the MCU, each of which has been met with tremendous acclaim and huge box office success. As of now, the duo have helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. It's certainly worth noting that when Endgame was released this year, it pulled in over $2.97 billion worldwide to become the highest-grossing movie of all time. Their next project as directors will be outside of the MCU with the crime drama Cherry, though it features Spider-Man star Tom Holland in a leading role.

It's not just Marvel personalities making their way into the show, as DC has gotten some love just recently from The Simpsons as well. One of the latest episodes featured Jason Momoa voicing himself in a special guest appearance, and the cameo was filled with references to his blockbuster movie Aquaman. In the episode, Marge's sister Selma ask Momoa to autograph her breast, prompting Momoa to quip, "Aquaman is not here for the signing of boobs! That's a separate event at The Marriott." The actor also can be seen holding his character's trademark trident, just to make completely sure the Aquaman reference isn't lost on everyone.

New episodes of The Simpsons air Sunday nights on Fox. You can catch the episode with Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers when it airs on the network on Feb. 23. This news comes to us from TVLine.
