On the heels of The Lego Movie's big success at the box office, Fox announced that it is airing a special LEGO-themed episode of The Simpsons on Sunday, May 4, which also happens to be the show's 550th episode.

The episode is entitled Brick Like Me, following Homer Simpson (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) as he wakes up one day in a world where himself, his family and everyone else in Springfield are made out of Legos. He must find out how he ended up in this world before he is trapped there forever.

The news comes just after Lego debuted their toy set for The Simpsons, a 2,500-piece set that includes The Simpsons home, the family's pink station wagon, and characters such as Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, Maggie and Ned Flanders. The set is priced at $199.99 SRP.

The Simpsons, which is currently on hiatus, returns with two brand new episodes on Sunday, March 9 at 7:30 PM ET. The show was renewed for its 26th Season in October, and the series will also make its cable debut on the FXX Network this August.
