The CW Network today unveiled its first ever six-night primetime schedule along with the premiere dates for the 2018-2019 TV season. This announcement also reveals a new time period change for two of the network's hit superhero shows, with Arrow moving from Wednesday nights to Monday nights at 8 PM, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow also moving to Monday nights, following Arrow at 9 PM. As always, The CW's season will kick off with their coverage of the IHeartRadio Music Festival, airing over two nights Sunday, October 7 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT) and Monday, October 8 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT).

After the IHeartRadio Music Festival coverage, the network's programming lineup kicks off in earnest on Tuesday, October 9 with the the Season 5 premiere airing at 8 PM, followed by the Season 2 premiere of Black Lightning at 9 PM ET. Riverdale returns for its third season on Wednesday, October 10 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT), followed by the series premiere of the network's inspiring new drama series All American (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). The CW's long-running hit Supernatural is staying put in its Thursday night timeslot, with Season 14 kicking off October 11 at 8 PM.

For the first two weeks of Supernatural's Season 14 run, the show will serve as a lead-in to encore telecasts of the series premieres of All American on October 11 and Charmed on October 18, before the Thursday 9 PM time slot is occupied by another new series Legacies, which is set in the same world as hit CW programs The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, starting on October 25. The network's Friday night lineup will consist of the second season of the hit drama series Dynasty at 8 PM, and the final season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend at 9 PM, with both shows kicking off their seasons on Friday, October 12.

The CW's beloved lineup of DC Comics superhero shows will be shifted, starting with Supergirl returning for its fourth season in the network's new Sunday night lineup, debuting its Season 4 premiere Sunday, October 14 at 8 P ET, followed by the series premiere of Charmed at 9 PM ET. The CW will be switching time periods for its two high-octane action and adventure Monday series, with Arrow now leading off the night premiering October 15 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT), and Legends of Tomorrow moving an hour later, making its season four premiere on October 22 (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT).

The CW had originally announced that Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow are switching to Monday nights when their full lineup was announced back in May, but their time periods have been switched. Legends of Tomorrow was originally slated to debut in the 8 PM time slot, followed by Arrow at 9 PM, but now the shows have swapped time slots. New shows debuting in midseason include In the Dark and a reboot of Roswell, New Mexico, along with returning shows Jane the Virgin, iZombie and The 100.
