According to The Hollywood Reporter, Syfy is getting together with After Dark Films for two film projects. They will air on the network's Saturday night creature-feature slot.

The first film is titled Scream of the Banshee. It stars Lauren Holly (NCIS) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens). It follows a professor who unleashes a creature with a bone-splitting scream.

The second movie is called 51. This film follows group of reporters that is allowed access to a top-secret Air Force base that houses aliens.

After Dark also produces Syfy's annual "8 Films to Die For" event.

"We've aired nearly 20 After Dark-acquired movies, which have played very well with our viewers," stated Syfy executive vice president of programming and original movies, Thomas Vitale. "Because of After Dark's strong branding, effective production values and understanding of the audience, we are excited to expand our relationship."
