Last week, we reported that 20th Century Fox has big plans for the highly-anticipated Deadpool during Super Bowl 50 this weekend. The studio will likely air a new Super Bowl TV spot for their superhero adventure, with star Ryan Reynolds appearing at various events surrounding the big game. As it turns out, the actor is also featured in another new Super Bowl ad for Hyundai, and although it has nothing to do with Deadpool, it's still quite entertaining.

The ad features two women driving a new Hyundai Elantra, when they enter what's known as "Ryanville, Population: Yes." As these ladies soon discover, this entire town is populated with different versions of Ryan Reynolds. These Ryan Reynolds clones are seen riding a bicycle, getting a speeding ticket, working on a construction crew and even playing a game of football. The ad shows how this new car has "Auto Emergency Braking," which will stop the car by itself, even if the driver is "distracted."

As for Deadpool, 20th Century Fox hasn't confirmed yet that the studio will be debuting a new TV spot during the big game, but it seems likely since the movie debuts just a few days after the game, on February 12. For those who will be in the San Francisco area during the big game, 20th Century Fox has lined up a number of different promotional events as well. Star Ryan Reynolds will be running a food truck and handing out the Merc's favorite food, chimichangas on Friday night, and on Saturday night, the studio will take over a local bar near the stadium, which will be renamed Sister Margaret's Bar after the watering hole in the movie. The studio will also hold the official press junket at the bar, where Ryan Reynolds and his co-star T.J. Miller are expected to serve drinks and play darts with the journalists. 20th Century Fox will also take over Snapchat on Sunday to promote the movie.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool will go up against Warner Bros. romantic comedy How to Be Single and Paramount's comedy sequel Zoolander 2. Box office analysts started tracking the superhero adventure last week, with some even claiming that it could hit north of $60 million in its opening frame. Zoolander 2 is tracking at around $20 million for its debut. If these projections are accurate, the R-rated Deadpool will have a higher opening weekend than both the original X-Men and X-Men: First Class. While we wait for more on Deadpool, take a look at Ryan Reynolds' new Super Bowl TV spot for Hyundai, and stay tuned for more on Deadpool.
