If you're like us, you just can't get enough of Netflix's Stranger Things, which has become a smash hit since debuting on the streaming service just over one month ago. While fans wait for any official word on Season 2, some are getting creative, finding different ways to express their love for the show. Earlier today, we showed you a website that allows you to create your own title card using the font from the hit series, and now we have a hilarious tribute to one of the show's breakout hit characters, Barb (Shannon Purser). If you haven't caught up with the show yet, there will be SPOILERS ahead, so read on at your own risk.

Earlier this month, the rap-comedy duo Dr. Chorizo put together a hilarious music video on YouTube that honors their favorite character Barb. The actress who plays Barb, Shannon Purser, made headlines last month when she expressed her interest in playing the Marvel character Squirrel Girl on the big screen. Unfortunately, she was killed by a horrific monster halfway through the first season, but she left an indelible mark on many fans, including Dr. Chorizo.

These comedic rappers call out Barb's friend Nance (Natalia Dyer) for ditching her for that "douchebag Steve" (Joe Keery), while expressing how they want to see her in Season 2, appropriately stating that "Stranger Things have happened." Given the sudden popularity of Barb, it wouldn't be surprising if a grassroots movement started to bring her back for the seemingly inevitable Stranger Things Season 2. While Netflix hasn't issued a renewal quite yet, chief content officer Ted Sarandos claimed that the streaming service would be "stupid" not to pick up the show for a second season.

The first season spanned eight episodes, and it isn't known if there are plans for an extended second season. We even reported earlier this month that Adam F. Goldberg, who created ABC's hit comedy The Goldbergs, which is also set in the 1980s, wants to do a crossover episode. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer have teased that Season 2 would be a continuation of the hit first season, although it isn't known if they have already started writing the new season quite yet.

If Netflix does issue a Season 2 renewal, it will most likely return sometime next summer, but we'll have to wait and see when the streaming service makes it official. Shortly after Dr. Chorizo debuted this video, Shannon Purser offered her thoughts on Twitter, after her co-star David Harbour gave this hilarious video his seal of approval.
