Way back in March, Disney XD announced that Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed on to voice a mysterious role in Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels. The new season starts Wednesday, October 14 with "The Lost Commanders, and now we finally have word on the character Sarah Michelle Gellar is voicing. BuzzFeed has the latest preview for this upcoming season, which confirms that the actress is playing a new Inquisitor, known as The Seventh Sister.

The Seventh Sister believes Ahsoka has returned. Sarah Michelle Gellar explains that her character is on a quest to destroy Ahsoka and the rest of the beloved Rebels. The actress also teases that The Seventh Sister "plays cat and mouse" with Kanan, voiced by her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., while discussing her longtime admiration of the Star Wars franchise as a whole. We also get to see some of the weapons in her arsenal, such as Mimic Droids, which can imitate anyone and report back to her.

In Star Wars Rebels Season Two, past lives will be revealed and the destiny of our heroes will be changed forever. The transformative new season resumes with Imperial oppression on Lothal growing stronger and the rebels seeking out new allies and additional resources to sustain their fight against the evil Empire. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, the crew of the Ghost enlists some old friends: ex-clone troopers who fought in the Clone Wars. As the rebels grow in number, so do their enemies. New Inquisitors are dispatched by Darth Vader and sent to crush any threat of rebellion. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space chases, and spectacular lightsaber duels - the bond of our rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.
